Sometimes the most unexpected journey leads to the most fulfilling destination. That’s the story of Rise Marketing Solutions.

Amber Kraus began her career in Rockford, Illinois, where she worked as kindergarten teacher right out of college. She moved to Denver, Colorado in 2012 where she taught second grade. Her commitment to lifelong learning led her to continue her own education at the University of Colorado-Denver, earning a graduate certificate in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies.

Life then took her back to the St. Louis area, where she entered the realm of marketing and student recruitment for a network of charter schools in South St. Louis City. Her knack for connecting with communities shined, and she helped to open four new schools over just five years.

During that time, she stepped into a national role, managing communications and student recruitment for 16 schools across the U.S. This is where she had the opportunity to hone an impressive array of skills—from fundraising and donor management to crisis communication and non-profit management.

In 2019, the pieces finally fell into place. She used her unique combination of an education background and marketing expertise to launch Rise Marketing Solutions. It started small—a few social media clients looking for guidance. But word spread, and the demand grew. Four years later, the company has blossomed into a full-service marketing and consulting powerhouse.

Today, Rise Marketing Solutions offers an extensive range of services from small business marketing to non-profit donor management, school startups, and student recruitment. The numbers speak for themselves: since its inception, Rise has helped over 70 organizations expand their reach and further their missions.

Yes! While all client communication and project management is handled through Amber, we have a fantastic team of experts working behind the scenes in the areas of web development, graphic design, and content writing.

Every client and every project is unique, and we believe that our payment and contract structure should be tailored to suit the needs of our clients. Generally, ongoing services require a 12-month contract with payment due on the 1st of each month. One-time projects typically require a deposit of at least 50%. 

We’re a team of creatives, which means we work when the ideas are flowing! However, you can expect to receive responses to emails and business inquiries between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., M-F. We strive to respond to all emails and inquiries within one business day.
